Joey Sindelar about Stick to Golf
“Hi! I’m PGA tour player
Joey Sindelar and I’d like to introduce you to my father’s innovative and exciting golf learning method.

My dad has been my teacher since I was 6 years old and we used techniques he knew from the start as well as others we learned along the way. All along he need to know - why?

That question led to the creation of Stick to Golf. Why is it so difficult for people of any age to learn golf skills? More

Putting Station

The Stick to Golf Putting Station consists of one Teeny Green, one putter and one regular golf ball.  Players will use a real putter (either their own or one that can be purchased with the unit) and real golf balls on the Teeny Green™.  There are clearly marked back and forward stroke guides printed on the surface.  Use the special Birdie-Par-Bogey Scoring System to play games for fun and competition, and also to keep you focused for effective practice.

NOTE:  The Teeny Green can be purchased separately, with or without a putter.

Playing Instructions:

The Teeny Green is 27 inches long. It can be used anywhere - at home, at the office, in a dorm or hotel room. Pack it in a suitcase or in a golf bag and you have a practice putting green wherever you go. Use it on the practice putting green to guide your straight back and straight through stroke on longer putts.

HOW THE TEENY GREEN WORKS IN SCHOOLS:

1. Equipment for each Putting Station:
Each station consists of one Teeny Green, one putter, one golf ball, and a clipboard (clipboards are included in the Classroom Packs).

2. Allow a minimum of 36 square feet (6’ by ‘6) for each station.

3. Assign students to each Putting Station.
Assign one, student or groups of two, three, or four to each Putting Station. The responsibilities listed below can be combined based on the number of students assigned to a station. For a twosome, the students can collaborate to determine the score after each stroke. The members of each group rotate through these suggested positions:

The Player
• Uses a putter and one golf ball.
• "Tees up" between and behind, never ahead of, the designated tee markers.
• Putts three times.

The Peer Coach
• Reads the body set up and stroke instructions to the player.
• Encourages and guides the player.

The Scorekeeper
• Uses the clipboard, a pencil and the scorecard.
• Records the player’s individual hole scores on the scorecard.

The Rules Interpreter
• Interprets the rules and makes the final scoring decisions.
• Communicates the Birdie-Par-Bogey score to the Scorekeeper.
• Consults with the facilitator when scoring clarification is necessary.

4. Have students start by warming up:
From up close on the Teeny Green (Joey says, "Remember, start close to learn fast, and have fun...Stick to Golf!"). This will help the students develop a delicate touch and the feel necessary to achieve success.
