Sindelar Golf Learning Center Features:
Sindelar Learning Centers consist of a variety of practice and play stations all of which utilize the Birdie-Par-Bogey Scoring System and include the following:
Rollback™: The characteristics of the Rollback make it possible for you to stand in one place, use one golf ball, and practice your pitch shots and other short-game shots. The Target Turf chipping and pitching surfaces are designed so that when the ball hits the target green, it bites and then rolls right back to you for your next shot. The swing restrictor and safety bar system prevent an over swing and keep observers within a safe distance. Birdie-Par-Bogey scoring is determined by the first bounce of the ball and can be utilized for games and to track skill progress.
Pitchback™: Imagine playing shuffleboard, but instead you are using your wedge and a golf ball. This is what happens at the Pitchback. You can play 18 holes with your friends or you can practice by yourself. The Target Turf greens make it possible for you to concentrate on the flight of the ball and where it will land. Birdie-Par-Bogey scoring at the Pitchback is determined by where the ball comes to rest and incorporates an eagle which is scored when the ball goes into the hole.
Pitching Course: The course consists of consecutive pitching holes that will challenge your short game skills whether you use it for practice or for a little competition with your family and friends. The players choose one of the tee boxes and hit to the Target Turf greens where the Birdie-Par-Bogey score is determined by where the ball comes to rest.
Chipping and Putting Course: Joe Sindelar created the Chipping & Putting Course as an optional station for the Sindelar Learning Centers. Teach and practice both putting and chipping on the Course which uses a special synthetic putting surface and embedded tee mats for chipping. The undersize, shallow holes on the putting surface allow for precise putting practice where pace is just as important as direction. The putted or chipped golf ball will stay in the hole if it is the right speed. Use our synthetic putting surface and the embedded tee mat to practice chipping and putting to the undersize holes.. The Birdie-Par-Bogey Scoring System is utilized at this station for feedback and to play games.

Putting Green: Putting is the most important part of the game of golf and can consist of half of your shots for a round. Our putting green surfaces are true and can be installed in most available spaces. The Birdie-Par-Bogey scoring system provides you with feedback for your practice sessions or makes it fun to play games with your friends.
Three holes of the Pitching Course circling around a putting green make a great set up for a golfer’s home. The back yard will look fabulous, you will be able to walk out your door and play for score or work on your game. Your home will be the destination for fun for your family and friends.
